What to Expect:
Guests will learn more about the unique Bonsmara cattle breed, holistic ranch management, and regenerative rangeland grazing. Guests will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of low-stress cattle handling with Stefan Selbert and learn about working with wild mustangs with Nicolette Birnie from Wild to Willing Horsemanship. Visit our Nigerian dwarf goats and Kune Kune pigs and check out our mobile chicken coop “The Egg Roll” and our chicken flock! Enjoy a taste of wine offered by Los Alamos based Casa Dumetz and Buelton based Folded Hills, coffee by Zaca Coffee and blueberries from Santa Barbara Blueberries.

Las Cumbres Ranch is a holistically managed cattle ranch on the Central Coast of California. We breed pedigree Bonsmara cattle which are highly adaptable and can thrive in dry, brittle environments while producing exceptional quality beef. Because Bonsmaras are browsers and grazers they are effective at fire mitigation. Our environmentally-appropriate livestock build soil fertility, restore biodiversity and sequester carbon.
Casa Dumetz is a boutique winery in Los Alamos celebrating our 12th year in this historic town. Our attention and motivation is captured by creating aromatic fresh wines that defy expectation. With our three brands, Casa Dumetz, Clementine Carter and The Feminist Party, our goal is to highlight the beauty and the bounty of Santa Barbara wine country. We have a particular sweet spot for Rhone variety grapes sourced from our cool climate vineyard partners in the Sta. Rita Hills. Join us for our monthly Taste the Landscape wine club vineyard tours. 2023 marks our 19th vintage - there is always more to discover.
Folded Hills is uniquely situated in the Santa Ynez Valley, just five miles from the Pacific Ocean. Their hillside vineyard sits on a rare limestone deposit and is planted exclusively with Rhône varietals. This site captures maximum sun exposure and cooling ocean breezes that wash over the vines each day. Their grapes grow in ideal conditions and are farmed organically, with a nod toward biodynamic principles. Their location and conditions are unique for this area and are found in just a handful of exceptional vineyards around the world.
Restoration Oaks Ranch located in the magnificent rolling hills of Santa Ynez Valley just 35 miles northwest of Santa Barbara, Restoration Oaks Ranch is 955 acres of wild oak woodlands, savanahs and cattle-grazing grasslands., Restoration Oaks Ranch is home to Santa Barbara Blueberries and the Wild Farmlands Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to agroecology education and innovations in local food systems & sustainable land regeneration. The Restoration Oaks Team will be introducing Wild Dirt and Soil Biology
Zaca Coffee a coffee company born on the Central Coast, is now available to coffee drinkers everywhere. They explored the world’s finest beans and blends in a quest to identify rich flavor and subtle complexities that reflect the life we enjoy here on the Central Coast. Zaca Coffee is roasted in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley among the native oak trees and wildlife that have occupied this land for thousands of years.
All these vendors will have their goods available for purchase. Ranch store will be open, meat, honey, merchandise, and gifts will be available for purchase.
